Black Travel Skirt
SPANISH help…5 articles of clothing and their important colors.?
When you travel, what clothes do you put in your suitcase? I need 5 articles of clothing and their important colors ((basic spanish, I’m a beginner). For example, “Wear a red dress and a black skirt in her suitcase.”
The examples in suppose to be: “I have a red dress and a black skirt in my suitcase.”
Example…
“I have a red dress and a black skirt in my suitcase.”
Yo Tengo un vestido rojo y una flada negra en mi maleta.
5 articles – (if you want to make a noun with a vowel on the end plural just add s. but if it has a consanant ending use ‘es ” on the end for masculine and “as” on the end for feminine.)
vestido(s) – dress
falda(s)- skirt
pantolon(es)- pant
camisa(s)- shirt for a man usually
camiseta(s) – undershirt
blusa(s)- blouse for a woman
n egro- black
blanca- white
cafe/moreno- brown
azul- blue
rosa- pink
morado- purple
rojo- red
anaranjado – orange
amarillo- yellow
verde- green
maroon – marron
Wear a red dress and a black skirt in her suitcase doesnt really make sense so i suggest…
She wears a black skirt.
(Ella lleva una falda negra.)
A red dress and black skirt is in her suitcase.
(Una vestido roja y falda negra es en su maleta)
Also, when you use a color and an article of clothing, in spanish the color goes after the article. ALso, the color ending is changed depending on the noun. For exaample, if you said falda n egro, you’d be wrong. You have to say falda negra. The ending gets changed if it ends in o and a.
